The Frugal Boogle ....

What a Cool Name!

The dictionary definition of the word FRUGAL is "characterized by or reflecting economy in the use of resources".

A more expanded definition says: 1. economical in use or expenditure; prudently saving or sparing; not wasteful: a frugal manager. 2. entailing little expense; requiring few resources; meager; scanty: a frugal meal.

Some non dictionary definitions might include 'being able to really get a big bang for your buck'.

In the current economic environment frugal could also be translated as being really, really smart and not letting the lack of funds run your life!

It is the purpose of this blog to help us get the most for our hard earned dollar and learn how to let money serve us, rather than having us serve money.

Feel free to send along any suggestions you have for articles of interest and also send along any money saving tips you have learned in your life.

Again, Welcome to the Frugal Boogle ..... I hope you become a regular visitor and a regular contributor.

What's a 'Boogle'? According to Inherently Funny it is "a name given to a group or pack of weasles". My first choice was the Frugal Bugle, but someone beat me to it. And NO it is not intended to imply an association with world famous Google in any way shape or form. The company with a kazillion employees and stock trading in the stratosphere has nothing whatever to do with my little one man effort.
